APPENDIX 6 "STICKER METHOD"EASY FOR COMMISSIONING
In FC18 system, each field device has a unique ID number. Engineer can tear it down when installing, and fix to the equipment
position in engineering drawings, so that after finishing installation of all devices, engineer file configuration can be made.
Detailed procedures are as follows:
1.
Open the package.
2.
Tear down the machine-readable ID number.
3.
Fix it to the corresponding position in engineering drawings.
4.
After all installation complete, turn on the system, and controller will find all new devices.
5.
Now the system is "auto configured" able to generate alarms and fault with default settings.
6.
Upload the data to PC, and configure through debug tool software in PC:
Choose the device.

Enter text information or choose corresponding technical parameters (such as sensitivity).
7.
After configuration, download configuration file to controller and complete the configuration job.
