CAUSES IRREPARABLE DAMAGE TO
THE CATALYTIC CONVERTER.
Vehicle owners are warned that the law
may prohibit the following:
•
the removal of any device or el-
ement belonging to a new vehi-
cle or any other action by any-
one leading to render it non-
operating, if not for mainte-
nance, repair or replacement
reasons, in order to control
noise emission before the sale
or delivery of the vehicle to the
ultimate buyer or while it is used;
•
using the vehicle after that de-
vice or element has been re-
moved or rendered non-operat-
ing.
Check the muffler/exhaust silencer and
the silencer pipes, make sure there are
no signs of rust or holes and that the ex-
haust system works properly.
If the noise produced by the exhaust sys-
tem increases, get immediately in touch
with the Dealer or with a Moto Guzzi au-
thorised repair shop.

Men waarschuwt de eigenaar van het
voertuig dat de wet het volgende kan ver-
bieden:
•
de verwijdering en elke hande-
ling om eender welk toestel of
samenstellend element in een
nieuw voertuig niet-operationeel
te maken, door eender wie, be-
halve voor het onderhoud, de
herstelling of de vervanging, om
de lawaai-emissie te controle-
ren vóór de verkoop of levering
van het voertuig aan de koper of
wanneer het gebruikt wordt;
•
het gebruik van het voertuig na-
dat dit mechanisme of samen-
stellend element werd verwij-
derd of niet-operationeel werd
gemaakt.
Controleer de uitlaat/knaldemper van de
uitlaat en de buizen van de knaldemper,
en controleer of er geen roest of boringen
zijn en of het uitlaatsysteem correct
werkt.
Wanneer het lawaai van het uitlaatsys-
teem verhoogt, moet onmiddellijk een
Erkende garage of Moto Guzzi Dealer
gecontacteerd worden.
