General

This section covers the most common service adjustments
or procedures that may need to be made during the life
of your machine.

Replacing.V-Belt
To replace the V-belt:
1. DISCONNECT BANDSAW FROM POWER!
2. Open both wheel covers, and remove the blade.
3. Loosen the motor mount screws shown in Figure 46.
4. Rotate the motor up to loosen the V-belt, then
tighten the motor adjustment screw.
5. Pull the V-belt off of the motor pulley.
6. Unthread the wheel mount bolt shown in Figure 46.
and slide the lower wheel off of the bearing shaft.
7. Slip the old V-belt off of the wheel pulley and install
the new V-belt in its place.
8. Install the lower wheel back onto the bearing shaft
and replace/tighten the wheel mount bolt.
9. Slip the new V-belt onto the motor pulley.
10. Rotate the motor down to tension the V-belt, then
tighten the motor mount screws.
11. Close the lower wheel cover.
