SHUTTING DOWN

Setting the maximum temperature
Factory setting: 100 °F (38 °C)
86°F / 30°C
100°F / 38°C
122°F / 50°C
Do not adjust the temperature unless the power supply has
been deactivated/disconnected.
Using a flat screwdriver, set the potentiometer to the maximum
required temperature.
Re-fit the appliance cover.

12. Shutting down
Turn off the circuit breaker connected to the appliance.
Drain the appliance (See , "Draining the appliance", pg. 16).

13. Troubleshooting

Problem
Cause
The appliance will not
No power to the appliance Check the fuses/circuit
start despite the tap
being fully open.
The flow rate is too low.
The filter screen in the
cold water line is blocked.
The heater is faulty.
The safety pressure cutout
has activated.
Remedy
breaker.
Increase the flow rate.
Clean aerator installed at
faucet
Clean the filter screen after
shutting off the cold water
inlet line.
Check the resistance of the
heating system and replace
the appliance if required.
Contact Stiebel Eltron for
additional troubleshooting
Remedy the cause of the
fault. Isolate the appliance
from the power supply and
depressurize the water line.
Reset the safety pressure
cutout.
