4. Configuring The AVA-1502AP Card
A host adapter configuration utility program, SCSISelect has been included in your Film Scanner to view and
change your host adapter card settings. If you need to check or alter the settings, start the SCSISelect utility
following the instructions below.
CAUTION
• The AVA-1502AP card has default settings that are correct for most computers. Usually, there is no
need to change these default settings.
• Only change the settings once you have fully understood how the changes will affect the card.
Starting SCSISelect
Follow the procedures below to use the SCSISelect utility.
Turn your computer power Off.
Close all applications, then close Windows 95 by selecting the [Shutdown] option from the [Start] menu.
At the prompt, turn your computer power off.
Insert the disk containing the "Host Adapter Configuration Utility (SCSISelect)"
into your floppy disk drive.
Turn on your computer power.
After a short pause, the SCSISelect utility program will start and display its main menu as seen below.
