2. Mounted Slides
Use the following procedures to insert slide-mounted 35 mm positive film into the Film Scanner for scanning.
Hold the slide on edge with the image you wish to scan oriented to the left.
SUGGESTION:
• The driver software can correct the orientation of a scanned image even if the film has been reversed
or inverted.
Insert the slide as far as possible into the scanner slot.
Push the slide straight into the scanner slot as far as it will go.
CAUTION:
• You will not be able to insert the slide all the way to the back of the slot if it is held at an angle.
• If a slide jams because it has been inserted crookedly into the Film Scanner, open the film guide and
remove the slide.
