Shutter Installation
Shutter vanes MUST be installed to open toward the fan motor and upward as shown
in Figure 24. Attach shutter clips to the interior wall with either 936057 (zinc plated)
or MH8206 (stainless steel). Shutter Clips can be adjusted as you tighten.

The shutter and rough opening that is used on the fan will dictate what shutter needs to be used with
exterior fans. VALCO® may not carry all sizes and therefore customer/installer may need to provide.
Once the fan is fully installed, you should perform a test run to be sure that it is operating correctly.
You should wear safety glasses when testing fans.
