Fault:
When I switch on the device the date and time are not correct
Cause:
Date/time were not saved.
Help:
- Re-enter the date and time in SETUP MODE.
Cause:
The internal buffer battery is empty.
Help:
- If this is the case, contact your supplier. The buffer battery may have to
be replaced.
Fault:
External thermal printer or barcode reader do not work
Cause:
They are not connected properly to the RIDA
Help:
- Check the plugs and cable
Cause:
The thermal printer batteries are empty.
Help:
- Recharge the thermal printer using the supplied power unit or operate
the printer directly with the power unit.
CAUTION:
Use only the power unit supplied for the thermal printer. Use of the power
unit for the RIDA
Caution
Fault:
Although the power unit is connected to the RIDA
batteries do not recharge.
Cause:
Charging is monitored via the microcontroller that is integrated in the
device. When the device is switched off, it is not ready to operate and
does not release the battery charging process.
Help:
- Switch the device on and check the external power unit.
