FRONT WHEEL SERVICE

Front Wheel Removal & Installation
Refer to Figure 15.
1. Elevate the front of the rider (see ELEVATING
FRONT END FOR SAFE SERVICE, this section)
2. Remove the plastic hub cap (Ref. 8, 9). Remove the
e-ring (Ref. 7) using a screwdriver.
3. Remove the washer (Ref. 6).
4. Remove the wheel assembly (Ref. 2 & 5).
5. Install in reverse order of removal.

Wheel Bearing Replacement

Refer to Figure 15 for assembly.
1. Elevate the front of the rider (see ELEVATING
FRONT END FOR SAFE SERVICE, this section)
2. Remove the front wheel (see FRONT WHEEL
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION, this section).
3. Using a drift and hammer, tap the old bearings
(Ref. 1) out of the rim (Ref. 2).
4. Press the new bearing (Ref. 1) into the rim (Ref. 2)
using an arbor press.
5. Reinstall the front wheel (see FRONT WHEEL
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION, this section).
