GLASS DOOR AND BARRIER SCREEN INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION OF THE GLASS DOOR ASSEMBLY
To install the Glass Door assembly, the Surround assembly must
be first removed by pulling the bottom of the surround outward
a few inches, then lifting upward to disengage. Refer to the Sur-
round Panel Installation section. Set the surround assembly aside.
The Glass Door assembly is installed to the firebox as shown in
Figure 51. Secure the door assembly with (2) Spring latches at the
top of the door frame and (2) Spring latches at the bottom of the
door frame. Prior to latching, center the door assembly left to right
on the firebox to ensure a proper gasket seal to the firebox. Make
sure that the spring latches are fully engaged when hooked over
the flanges on the door frame, both top and bottom.

BARRIER SCREEN INSTALLATION
Installation of the Barrier Screen Assembly
After the Glass Door and Surround assemblies have been in-
stalled, attach the Barrier Screen onto the Glass Door frame by
hooking the top flange of the barrier over the top of the Glass
Door frame, then snap the bottom extended friction tabs under the
Glass Door frame to secure. Adjustments to the bottom tabs may
be required to maintain a light snap-on action. See Figure 52.
