7.12 Final Setup and Test

To test the set-up and ensure that the frequency converter is running, follow these steps.
Step 1. Locate the motor name plate

The motor is either star- (Y) or delta- connected (∆). This information is located on the motor name plate data.
Step 2. Enter the motor name plate data in this parameter list.
To access this list first press the [QUICK MENU] key then select "Quick Setup".
Use the up and down arrow keys to navigate to the parameters associated
with the motor nameplate values.
Step 3. Activate the Auto Tune
Performing an Auto Tune will ensure optimum performance. The Auto Tune measures the values from the motor model equivalent diagram.
1.
Connect terminal 37 to terminal 12.
2.
Activate the Auto Tune par. P-04 Auto Tune.
3.
Choose between complete or reduced Auto Tune. If a Sine-wave filter is connected, run only the reduced Auto Tune, or remove the Sine-wave filter and
run complete Auto Tune..
4.
Press the [OK] key. The display shows "Press [Hand] to start".
5.
Press the [Hand] key. A progress bar indicates if the Auto Tune is in progress.
Stop the Auto Tune during operation
1.
Press the [OFF] key - the frequency converter enters into alarm mode and the display shows that the Auto Tune was terminated by the user.
Successful Auto Tune
1.
The display shows "Press [OK] to finish Auto Tune".
2.
Press the [OK] key to exit the Auto Tune state.
