Connection example
Use the following wires to connect the dynamic brake.

*1 Selection conditions of wire size are as follows.
Wire type: 600 V Grade heat-resistant polyvinyl chloride insulated wire (HIV wire)

*1 Assign DB (Dynamic brake interlock) in [Pr. PD07] to [Pr. PD09].
*2 Terminals 13 and 14 are normally open contact outputs. If the dynamic brake is seized, terminals 13 and 14 will open. Therefore,
configure an external sequence to prevent servo-on.
*3 The dynamic brake must be controlled by the drive unit of the encoder master servo amplifier.
*4 If the wire size used for the branch circuit is smaller than that used for L1, L2, and L3, install an overcurrent protection device (molded-
case circuit breaker, fuse, or others) to protect the circuit.
*5 This is for connecting four drive units and four power regeneration converter units to the servo motor.
*6 To prevent an unexpected restart of the drive unit, configure a circuit to turn off EM2 (Forced stop 2) when the main circuit power is
turned off.
*7 A step-down transformer is required when the coil voltage of the magnetic contactor is 200 V class.
*8 Depending on the main circuit voltage and operation pattern, bus voltage decreases, and that may cause the forced stop deceleration to
shift to the dynamic brake deceleration. When dynamic brake deceleration is not required, delay the time to turn off the magnetic
contactor.
