Selecting the Vocals (Vocal Select)
When playing a VIDEO CD or CD
To select the vocal track, press VOCAL SELECT during
playback.
Each time you press VOCAL SELECT, the output channel
changes as follows:

To select the vocal track, press VOCAL SELECT during
playback.
Each time you press VOCAL SELECT, the output channel

You can select the vocals using "VOCAL SELECT" in the
Karaoke Control Menu display
Select "VOCAL SELECT" in the Karaoke Control Menu display
(page 47), select the vocals using M/m, and then press ENTER.

When playing a DVD
You can use the Vocal Support function only with the
Dolby Digital Karaoke format.
Press VOCAL SUPPORT while playing a disc in karaoke
mode. To cancel the Vocal Support function, press VOCAL
SUPPORT again.
When playing a VIDEO CD or CD
Press VOCAL SUPPORT while playing a disc in karaoke
mode. To cancel the Vocal Support function, press VOCAL
SUPPORT again.

You can turn the Vocal Support function on and off using
"VOCAL SUPPORT" in the Karaoke Control Menu display
Select "VOCAL SUPPORT" in the Karaoke Control Menu display
(page 47), select "ON" or "OFF" using M/m, and then press
ENTER.

You can select the vocals
When the Vocal Support function is set to "ON," you can change
the guide vocal by pressing VOCAL SELECT. See "Selecting the
Vocals" (page 51).
Notes
• When you turn the Vocal Support function on, the Vocal
function is automatically turned off (page 50).
• When switching the recorded vocal and your vocal while
playing a Super VCD, the sound may cut off for a moment.
