Watching frame by frame
(Slow-motion Play)
Press 41 _1_ or _ m_ when the player is
in pause mode. To return to normal speed,
press I2:>.
Each time you press 41 _1_ or _ m_"
during Slow-motion Play, the playback speed
changes. Two speeds are available. With each
press the indication changes as follows:
Playback direction
2D_ *--* 1 D_
Opposite direction (DVD DVD-RW only)
The "2 I_" "2 4t" playback speed is slower
than "1 I_","1 -_1."
Playing one frame at a time
(Freeze Frame) _ _
When the player is in the pause mode, press
o_ IlI_ STEP to go to the next frame. Press
_,,* _I} STEP to go to the preceding flame
(DVD DVD-RW only). To remm to normal
playback, press I2:>.
You cannot seach for a still picture on a DVD-RW

Chapter/Track/Scene,
etc.
You can search a DVD by title or chapter, and
you can search a VIDEO CDiCD DATA CDi
DATA DVD by track, index, or scene. As
titles and tracks are assigned unique mnnbers
on the disc, you can select the desired one by
entering its number. You can also search for a
scene using the time code.

When playing a DVD VIDEO/DVD-RW

Select "TIME/TEXT" to search for a starting
point by inputting the time code.
