Watching frame by frame
(Slow-motion Play)
Press 41 _ or _ |_ when the player is
in pause mode. To return to normal speed,
press I2:>.
Each time you press 4| _ or _ m_
during Slow-motion Play, the playback speed
changes. Two speeds are available. With each
press the indication changes as follows:
Playback direction
Opposite direction (DVD'DVD-VR mode
only)
2 -_| .-+ 1 -_1
The "2 |_" "2 4|" playback speed is slower
than "1 |D,-" "1 _|."
Playing one frame at a time
(Freeze Frame) _ _
When the player is in the pause mode, press
o..l_ II1_ STEP to go to the next frame. Press
_,* -_ll STEP to go to the preceding frame
(DVDiDVD-VR mode only). To return to
normal playback, press I2>.
You cannot seaich fo! a still picture on a DVD-RW,'
DVD-R in VR mode
Searching for a Title/
Chapter/Track/Scene,

You can search a DVD by title or chapter, and
you can search a VIDEO (Di( D/DATA CDi
DATA DVD by track, index, file, or scene.
As titles and tracks are assigned unique
mtmbers on the disc, you can select the
desired one by entering its number. You can
also search lbr a scene using the time code.

Select "TIME/TEXT" to search for a starting
point by inputting the time code.
