The PL6600 and ETPLNRX security locks are designed to allow all features to be programmed
through its radio link from a DL-Windows-equipped computer. In addition, Audit Log Data may
be transmitted through the radio link back to the DL-Windows computer.
To increase security, PL Series locks do not include keypads; instead these models feature an
HID compatible ProxCard
In addition, data can be retrieved from the lock to your PC with DL-Windows software. Its real-
time clock/calendar automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time and allows for automated
programming of events.
The PL6600 and ETPLNRX security locks include two white "Remote Input" wires located
inside the rear housing. These two white wires can be programmed as either a "Remote Re-
lease" or for "Door Monitoring":
• For "Remote Release", a momentary short of these two white wires force the PL6600 /
ETPLNRX to unlock.
• For "Door Monitoring" these two white wires are connected to a magnetic Door Contact to
allow the state of the door (open or closed) to be monitored. Monitoring the door can, in
turn, allow other features to be programmed, including the lock sounder to be triggered
upon a "Door Ajar" event, door "kick-in" detection, and activation of the internal relay upon
these events.
