Removing & Installing Body Components

Battery

Negative terminal
Bolt Battery cover
Bolt
Positive terminal
# Removal
Make sure the ignition switch is in the
(Off) position.
Remove the centre cover.

Remove the couplers from the battery
2.
cover.
Move the battery cover upward by

removing the bolts.
Disconnect the negative - terminal from
4.
the battery.
Disconnect the positive + terminal from
5.
the battery.
Remove the battery cover.
6.
Remove the battery taking care not to
7.
drop the terminal nuts.
