13 Safety measures

13.1 Safety circuits

This machine is equipped with the following safety circuits to prepare for possible failures and
accidents.
(1) Prevention of the left-hand cover removal
When the left-hand cover is not in place or its screws are loosened, the lamp will not light.
(2) Protection from overheating
The power supply circuit and the optical section of the machine have thermal circuits. In cases of
overheating, the circuits will start operation to turn off the lamp.
(3) Protection from overcurrent
To protect the machine from overcurrent, fuses (6.3 A) are provided for the power supply circuit
(board) and the power supply socket of the machine.
