Precautions when using the Aicure
(1) Use only a power source that supplies the voltage and frequency specified on the product frame
or in this manual. Otherwise, burns may be caused.
(2) Use this product under the following operating conditions; otherwise, the product life may be
shortened.
Ambient temperature: 10 to 40 °C

Relative humidity: 80% or lower (with no condensation)
(3) When handling the lamp, do not touch the glass part with the bare hands.
Adhesion of foreign substances to the lamp may reduce its life or curing performance or damage
the lamp. If the lamp is dirty or has been touched with the bare hands, wipe it clean with alcohol.
(4) Set the rubber feet of this product on a flat horizontal surface.
Do not tilt this product or put it on its side or upside down during use; otherwise the lamp or the
product itself may overheat and sustain damage.
(5) To prevent damage due to overheating, allow sufficient free space around this product. Do not
place this product back to back with other machines. If the free space underneath and/or at the
back is inadequate, the flow of cooling air through and around this product will be insufficient,
causing overheating and damage. If this product and other machines are placed back to back,
they will become overheated due to exchange of their exhaust air, and both will sustain damage.
(6) If the cover is removed, do not leave the lamp on for a long time; otherwise, the lamp or the
product itself may become overheated and sustain damage.
(7) When opening/closing the shutter using an external signal or controlling the timer, turn off the
MANUAL switch on the control panel; otherwise MANUAL switch operation takes precedence
over control by external signals and timer operation.
(8) To prevent faulty lighting due to over-cooling, when turning on the lamp, make sure that the light
guide fiber unit is inserted into the fiber unit mount ring at the front of the frame.
(9) Do not use the lamp for more than a total of 3,000 hours; otherwise, the lamp may explode.
It is recommended that spare lamps are always kept in stock, even when the total lighting hours
of the lamp are within the limit.
Product warranty and compensation for production losses
Product warranty
This product will be repaired free of charge if it malfunctions under normal use conditions within one
year (assuming operation of 8 hours/day) after delivery. The warranty does not apply to malfunctions
attributable to the user, consumables, and/or unavoidable problems resulting from such occurrences
as natural disasters.
(Note) If this product is in operation for 12 hours or more per day, the warranty period will be 6
months.
Compensation for production losses
The supplier of this product will not compensate the user for losses due to production shutdowns
and/or defects caused by any malfunction of this product.
