Saunders® I-VUE
The Saunders® I-VUE is suitable for use in Hazardous Areas, Class I, Division 2
The Saunders® I-VUE cannot be installed in hazardous areas without a safety lock to
prevent the connection or disconnection of the power supply/command cable with the
power source connected.
The use of a safety lock allows the monitor to be installed in hazardous areas , Division I,
Class 2 , that prevents the disconnection without a proper tool to open the lock.
The use of the Saunders® I-VUE in hazardous areas without the safety lock device
fitted, is prohibited due to the potential of spark generation, when connecting or
disconnecting the power supply/ command cable with the power source connected.
Safety Lock
The safety lock is available for M12 or 7/8" connectors. This lock has a warning that
alerts the operator to not connect or disconnect the power supply / command cable
when the power source is connected.
IMPORTANT! All units installed in hazardous areas Class I, Division 2 must be fitted
with the safety lock device.
