    MUFFIN TOASTER MT-12 OPERATION (continued) Hi-Limit Reset Button A hi-limit thermostat will turn off electrical power to the heater and control circuits if the unit overheats. To reset the thermostat, allow sufficient time (about 45 minutes) for the unit to cool down, remove the cap and press the red reset button located on the side of the unit (Figure 2).
