Function
The SCR system (1) is designed to mix NH
with the exhaust gas and distribute the exhaust gas evenly over

the substrate to best advantage.
The SCR system incorporates the reducing agent dosing units (2), the mixing duct (7) and the SCR (4) and
ASC (5) catalysts. The reducing agent injected into the mixing duct is mixed with the exhaust gas to produce
ammonia.
Nitrous oxides are converted largely into nitrogen and water vapor in the SCR catalyst (4) with the help of the
ammonia.
