NOTE: The SB-ECM module active outputs, when configured in fail-safe mode, are locally de-
activated when there is:
- no communication with the control board for 1 minute
- no communication between the control board and the panel for 5 minutes
3.7.5 Module Operation Modes
The SB-ECM can operate in one of the following two modes, which can be configured with
Pro-HS81:

I/O Mode
•
Embedded Mode
I/O Mode
When configured in this mode, under normal operating conditions the device behaves like a stan-
dard I/O module and commands the outputs according to the commands received from the panel.
When it is not connected to the panel ("backup mode") the module can carry out "internal logic"
functions, which can be selected among those available in "embedded mode". If enabled, these
