Improper cable placement can damage the computer. Cables must be handled with extreme care to avoid damage. Apply only the tension required to unseat or seat the cables during removal and insertion.

    Detach the wireless antenna transceivers (1) from the display enclosure. (The wireless antenna transceivers are attached to the enclosure with double-sided adhesive.) Release the wireless antenna cables from the retention clips and routing channels built into the sides of the display enclosure (2). Remove the antennas from the display enclosure (3).
  • Page 72 Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 51). Remove the battery (see Battery on page 53). Remove the hard drive: Disconnect the hard drive cable from the ZIF connector on the system board (1). Remove the two Phillips M2.0×4.0 screws (2) that secure the hard drive to the computer. Rotate the inside of the hard drive upward (3), and then lift the hard drive out of the computer (4).
