Troubleshooting—Magnetic Stripe Reader
If the Infinea BluePad is not reading magnetic stripe cards properly, first verify that there is power to
the device and that it is powered on and sufficiently charged. Refer to the table below for additional
troubleshooting options:

•
Swipe the card again following the
instructions in MAGNETIC STRIPE
READER.
•
Run a test transaction with another
magnetic stripe card under the Test
MSR menu option to determine if
the card may be defective.

Process transaction manually using
keypad.

Attempt the transaction using
another device, if available, to
determine if the unit is defective.
What To Do
•
Hold the card closer to the RFID
label and attempt to read the card
again, following the instructions in
CONTACTLESS CARD READER.
