Getting Started
If the battery is fully discharged, the charging time is approximately
4 hours and 30 minutes.
1. Ensure the battery is fully charged with the provided power adapter
and USB cable before using the unit for the first time.
2. Press the On/Off button, next to the number 3 on the keypad.
3. Customers can sign the touchscreen using a fingertip. The functionality
requires software from our SDK.

Magnetic Stripe Card Reader
1. Place the magnetic card with the stripe facing downward.
2. Insert the magnetic stripe card into the card reader slot, and then
swiftly swipe it through the slot.
3. Hand the BluePad 2.0 to the customer for signature or PIN entry.
Smartcard Reader
1. Place the smartcard with the gold contacts facing upward.
2. Insert the car into the slot at the bottom of the reader in a smooth,
continuous motion until it seats firmly.
3. Give the BluePad 2.0 to the customer for signature or PIN entry.
4. Remove the card when the displays shows the transaction is complete.
Note
Leave the smartcard in the reader until the transaction is complete or the
transaction will be voided.
Display Symbols
Battery is discharged.
Battery is fully charged.
USB cable plug for outside power.
Flashing indicating battery is charging from the USB cable or
power station.
USB connection.
Active Bluetooth connection.
