Dubbing/Connecting to other devices

Images from connected devices are not displayed on the LCD screen (DCR-SR60/
SR80).
• Touch
The aspect ratio of the playback is not correct when connecting your camcorder
to the TV.
• Set [TV TYPE] depending on your TV (DCR-SR60/SR80) (p.42).
Images from connected devices cannot be zoomed (DCR-SR60/SR80).
• You cannot zoom scenes input from the other device on your camcorder.
No sound is heard during playback.
• The audio will not be output when you connect a device via the S VIDEO plug only. Connect
the white and red plugs of the A/V connecting cable, too (p.42, 70).
You cannot dub correctly using the A/V connecting cable.
• The A/V connecting cable is not connected properly. Make sure that the A/V connecting cable
is connected to the proper jack, i.e. to the output jack of a device you are dubbing a image from,
or to the input jack of another device for dubbing a image from your camcorder (p.70, 72).

Connecting a computer

The computer does not recognize your camcorder.
• Install the supplied software "ImageMixer for HDD Camcorder" (p.80).
• Set the camcorder onto the Handycam Station securely (p.18).
• Remove the USB cable from the Handycam Station and the computer, then connect it again
firmly.
• Remove USB device other than the keyboard, the mouse, and the Handycam Station from the
computer.
• Remove the USB cable from the Handycam Station and the computer, then restart the computer
to connect them again correctly.
• Check that [DVD BURN] or [
remove the USB cable from the Handycam Station and the computer, and turn the camcorder
off. Then turn on, and repeat the operation.
An error message appears when you place the supplied CD-ROM on your
computer.
• Set the computer display as follows:
– 1024 × 768 dots or more, High Color (16 bits, 65 000 colors) or more.
You cannot use the supplied software on a Macintosh computer.
• The supplied software "ImageMixer for HDD Camcorder" is not compatible with Macintosh.
