Step 2 Setting the date and time
To return to the FN screen
Select , , then press the centre z on the
control button after step 10. The PAGE1 screen
appears. Next, select EXIT, then press the centre
z on the control button.
If you do not set the date and time
"– – – – – – – –" and "– –:– –:– –" are recorded on
the tape or the "Memory Stick" (DCR-IP7E only)
as the data code.
Note on the time indicator
The internal clock of your camcorder operates on
a 24-hour cycle.
Simple setting of clock by time
difference
You can easily set the clock to the local time by
setting a time difference. Set up the AREA and
SUMMERTIME items in the menu settings.
