Installing the appliance

d CAUTION
Have a certified technician install and connect the
appliance according to the installation instructions
in this manual.
In addition to statutory national regulations, compliance
with the connection requirements of local electricity and
water utility companies is also required.
After installing the appliance, wait at least 1 hour before
plugging in the appliance. The oil in the compressor may
have flowed into the refrigeration system during transport.
d WARNING
To avoid a hazard due to instability of the appliance,
it must be fixed in accordance with the instructions.
Mounting the dust filter
The included dust filter must absolutely be mounted.
The dust filter prevents the soiling of the motor compart
ment, which minimizes the cooling output with increased
current consumption.
1. Remove the protective film from the dust filter.
2. Insert the filter at the bottom and snap it in at the top.

Installing the air grilles in the base plate
The air exchange for the appliance takes place around

the base. The included air grille must therefore be
installed in the base plate.
