ES030-10
DELTA ELEKTRONIKA BV
Re mote con trol, pro gram ming con nec tions and the po si tion of the man ual/pro gram switches
Ethernet / IEEE488 / RS232 pro gram ming
The Delta Elektronika PSC-ETH and PSC-232 con trol lers can be built in side the power sup ply.
The 15 pole D-con nec tor on the power sup ply is pin com pat i ble with the ex ter nal IEEE488 in ter face (PSC-488
module). With these in ter faces the volt age and cur rent can be pro grammed and read back by the com puter.
On the rear side of the unit change the po si tion of the switches from Man ual to Pro gram ming and use the pro gram -
ming in put of the in ter face to con trol the out put of the power sup ply.
Over Volt age Limit
The ES030-10 has an Over Volt age Limit which is fac tory set at 34 V but can be in ter nally ad justed be tween 6 and 34
V with trim mer R402. The OVL can be set a few volts above the de sired max i mum out put volt age. In case the volt age
potmeter at the front panel or the pro gram ming volt age is ac ci den tally set too high, the out put volt age is lim ited to the
set OVL volt age.
Par al lel and Se ries op er a tion
Se ries op er a tion is al lowed up to 600 V to tal volt age. Par al lel ing of units has no lim i ta tions. Volt age and cur rent have
to be set equal on all units with the con trol knobs. For eas ier con trol, Mas ter / Slave op er a tion is rec om mended.
Mas ter / Slave op er a tion
When us ing Mas ter / Slave op er a tion both cur rent and volt age can be set with the con trol knobs of the mas ter. The
slave power sup plies will fol low the mas ter re sult ing in equal volt age or cur rent shar ing in the se ries or par al lel mode
re spec tively. In case of re mote pro gram ming the mas ter is pro grammed and the slave(s) will fol low. By us ing the
Mas ter / Slave se ries fea ture, a Dual Track ing power sup ply can be made with one unit as mas ter and one as slave.
