    HANA is a database and must be integrated into your environment and applications to be useful. The purchase of a ConvergedSystem 500 for HANA includes the installation and startup of HANA. Loading operational data and integration with your applications are additional to this effort. It is important for the success of your HANA implementation to engage the Hewlett Packard Enterprise sales team to plan the extract, transform, and loading of data into HANA and integration with your applications.

    SAP HANA license statement This Hewlett Packard Enterprise solution contains an unlicensed copy of the SAP HANA software by SAP. Each SAP product is subject to its respective SAP end-user license agreement. You are not licensed to use the copy of the SAP HANA software contained in the Hewlett Packard Enterprise solution until you have purchased, or have available for use, the appropriate license from SAP or its authorized distributors.

    Hewlett Packard Enterprise provides bonding across network cards to protect the connectivity in the case of a port or a card failure. The ConvergedSystem 500 for SAP HANA Single System Scale-up consists of two network architectures depending on the size of the appliance. The 128GB, 256GB, 384GB, 512GB, 768GB, 1TB, and 1.5TB share the same network architecture layout as shown in Figure 4.

The operating system is on a mirrored pair of local disks; the data, log, and shared directories are separate file system mount points and are dependent on the model size for the various types of storage and location.
