INSTALLATION

2.
CONNECT TO DISPLAY with included HDMI cable
3.
TURN DISPLAY ON and select correct input
Connecting Tx
1.

IF BLUE LIGHT ON TX DOES NOT START FLASHING CONNECT POWER
a.
If using with a PC connect short USB cable to a USB port on computer.
b.
If the Blue light on the Tx still does not light up, connect to mains power adaptor
NOTE: The Tx needs 1000 milli-amps (mA) of power to operate. Laptops are only obliged to
provide 55mA through the HDMI port but they often provide more, so the HDMI port will
sometimes power the dongle. If not a USB cable is included to get supplementary power from a
USB port. If that‟s still not enough an external power supply is included.
When the Tx is powered on the Rx will automatically come out of standby. If the transmitter is
powered off the receiver will switch to Standby after 10 minutes automatically.

OPERATION

The Tx and Rx can be powered on in any order. As soon as they are both on the blue light will
flash for 15-20 seconds while the link is established, then it will stay on.
If operation is normal the power light and INFO light will be solid blue.
NOT WORKING?
If you don‟t have an image ensure:
1.
The correct input is selected on your display device. Even when there is no link an on
screen display will be output from the receiver.
2.
The computer is set to duplicate or extend the desktop (Control Panel\Appearance and
Personalisation\Display\Screen Resolution)
