Step
1.
Enter system
view.
2.
Create a P2P
protocol group
and enter
protocol group
view.
3.
Assign a protocol
to the protocol
group.
Enabling P2P traffic recognition
P2P traffic recognition is system resource demanding. It is disabled by default to avoid impacts on
other modules.
To enable DAR for traffic recognition:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enter Layer 3
Ethernet interface
view.
3.
Enable P2P traffic
recognition.
Configuring protocol match criteria
To apply QoS policies to data streams to set packet priority or allocate bandwidth for example, use
DAR to classify the data streams first.
To configure protocol match criteria:
Step
1.
Enter system
view.
2.
Enter class view.
3.
Configure the
match criterion
for a protocol
group.
Configuring DAR packet accounting
With the packet accounting function of DAR, you can monitor the number of packets and the amount
of data traffic of application protocols on each interface. According to the statistics, you can apply a
correct QoS policy to the traffic.
To configure DAR packets accounting:
Command
system-view
dar protocol-group
group-id
protocol protocol-name
Command
system-view
interface interface-type interface-number
dar enable
Command
system-view
traffic classifier classifier-name
[ operator { and | or } ]
if-match [ not ] protocol protocol
group-id
