STOPPING
IMPORTANT: Squeezing
both Traction Levers back past
Neutral position will cause the machine to back up.
1. Squeeze
both
Traction
Controls
simultaneously
towards
handle
bar
until
both
are
in Neutral.
Manually engage the Neutral Latch. See Figure 3.2.

2. Move Blade Clutch Control Switch to OFF position.

to SLOW
(Turtle)
Position.
4. Stop Engine by turning Keyswitch to STOP position.
Always park machine on level surface. Remove key.

OPERATING
3.4.1,
ENGINE - START ENGINE AS FOLLOWS:
1, Turn Fuel Tank Shut-OffValve ON.
2, Move Blade Clutch Control Switch to OFF position.
3. Be sure Right Hand and Left Hand Traction Levers are
latched in NEUTRAL position.
4. Move
Engine
Speed
Control
to
"FAST/CHOKE"
position. See Figure 3.3.
5, Turn Key Switch to RUN position.
6, Pull Starter Rope until Engine starts.
7. Move Engine Speed Control to "FAST" position.

DO NOT leave machine with the engine running.
