5. Check Battery Charger Operation

a. Connect the common lead of the digital voltmeter to
the second pin connector on the power supply board.
Connect the other lead of the digital voltmeter to the BC
test point. See Fig. 5-2.
b. Vary the line voltage from 90 to 250 Vac w ith the
instrument on or off.
c. Check fo r a reading of +0.6 to +0.8 o f a vo lt on the
digital voltmeter.
d. Check fo r a 0 volt reading on the digital voltmeter,
when the instrument is disconnected from the power line.
