Inhaled asbestos fibeis have been found
to
cause
respiratory
disease and cancer. Never use
an
air hose
or dry brush
to
clean brake assemblies. Use an OSHA-approved vacuum cleaner or alternate method approved by OSAH designed
to
minimize the hazard caused
by
airborne asbestos fibers.

Pad spring
Pivot collar
Pivot boot
Caliper pin bolt boot
Caliper pin bolt
Assembly
is in the reverse order of disassembly.
Note the spring direction as shown.
Apply silicone grease
to
the sliding surface.

Install into the bracket
groove securely.
Apply a locking
agent to
the threads and
torque
it.
Apply
silicone
grease to
the
pin.
Install it with the opening toward the
pad.
CAUTION:
Be careful
not to
damage
the
piston sliding
surface
when
removing
seals.
