NOTE
Since the ATS is installed in the rack, and is not connected to a keyboard and
mouse, you must perform the following tasks via a service laptop connected to
the ATS over the IX network.
Configure the laptop on page
Connect the service laptop to the Unity Network IX network on page
Set the ApexPro Channelized Telemetry System network name and IP address on
page
5-4.
Verify the IP address settings (if required) on page

WARNING
LOSS OF MONITORING/DATA - Be extremely careful not to
assign the same IP address to two different devices. Duplicate IP
addresses will cause erratic system communication and data loss.
If an ATS with a duplicate IP address is connected to the Unity
network, the Windows OS will return the IP address to 0.0.0.0 and
the original/default IP is lost and will reset. To resolve the
duplicate IP address issue, change the IP address in Webmin, and
reboot the ATS after changing the IP address.
Because this situation is most likely to occur if multiple devices are
ghosted simultaneously, complete the ghost procedure offline for
one ATS before beginning the procedure on another ATS.
WARNING
If a USB disk is plugged into the ATS, you need to remove it prior to
rebooting. Otherwise, the system software may not restart.
