The ATS operates reliably within normal office environmental limits. Select a site that
meets these criteria:
Clean and reasonably free of excess dust.
Well ventilated and away from sources of heat.
Away from sources of vibration or physical shock.
See Physical specifications on page A-4.
planning for installation.

conditions when planning for installation.
The ATS should be mounted in accordance with the site's design documentation and
site survey results.
WARNING
LOSS OF MONITORING — Mount the ATS securely and away
from vibration. Vibration may cause patient waveform dropout at
the CIC Pro center.
The ATS can be installed free-standing, in a component rack, or in a wall bracket. The
rack must be installed in a location providing proper environmental, ventilation,
power, grounding, EMI/RF, and network requirements.
WARNING
EQUIPMENT FAILURE — Do not locate the ATS in an enclosed
area that may restrict dissipation of generated heat. The ATS uses an
internal forced air cooling system. Any air flow restrictions may
cause a rise in internal temperature which may result in equipment
failure.
The ATS is capable of producing heat and must be physically located to allow for
ample air circulation to properly dissipate the heat.
Keep ATS ventilation openings free of obstructions. The ATS rack installation
location should provide at least the following minimal clearances for ventilation and
access.
