Access the ATS desktop

Uncheck Use automatic configuration script.

Uncheck Use a proxy server.

Select OK.
You can use the Virtual Network Computing (VNC) application to display the ATS
desktop from a remote computer or you can access the ATS desktop using a keyboard/
mouse and monitor connected to the ATS.
WARNING
LOSS OF FUNCTION/ALARMS/DATA — Do not connect a
keyboard/mouse other than that specified by GE to the ATS.
Installation of devices not specified by GE may cause damage to the
ATS, can interfere with its operation or cause loss or corruption of
data.
To access the ATS desktop via a VNC connection, follow these steps:
1.
Install the UltraVNC client distributed via the CIC Pro center service tools CD.
NOTE
If you do not have a CIC Pro center service tools CD, contact your regional
GE Technical Support representative.
2.
Navigate to the location where you installed the UltraVNC viewer.
Typically, on Windows XP, from the Windows taskbar, select Start > All
Programs > UltraVNC > UltraVNC Viewer > Run UltraVNC Viewer (Listen
Mode).
3.
In the VNC Server field, type the Unity IX IP address of the CIC Pro center.
NOTE
Do not change any default settings.
Ensure that you are making the VNC connection over the IX network.
Do not connect through the MC or RX network.
