4.5 VLAN

Under VLAN you will find all the dialogs and attributes for configuring and
monitoring the VLAN function in accordance with the IEEE 802.1Q standard.

4.5.1 VLAN Global

With this dialog you can:
display VLAN parameters
activate/deactivate the VLAN 0 transparent mode
configure and display the learning mode
reset the VLAN settings of the device to the state on delivery.
Parameter Meaning
Biggest VLAN ID Displays the biggest possible VLAN ID
Max. Number of Displays the maximum number of VLANs
VLANs
VLANs configured Displays the number of configured VLANs

Note: The device provides the VLAN with the ID 1. The VLAN with ID 1 is
always present.
