Changing over from an FDnet detector line to a collective detector
line
When changing from an FDnet detector line with FD20 detectors on a collective
line, or when new detectors are used on a collective detector line for the first time,
collective detector bases are mandatory.
WARNING
Removal of the devices cannot be detected when the wrong detector bases are
used
Fire may spread unhindered.
Only detector bases FDB201 and FDB201-AA as well as sounder base
FDSB292 may be operated on a collective detector line.
Changeover is normally performed automatically. With some detectors, a
temporary fault or alarm may occur during changeover.
Changing over from AnalogPLUS detector line to FDnet detector line
or from FDnet detector line to AnalogPLUS detector line
The changeover must take place by reading in the detector line several times.
Repeat the reading-in process until the correct number of installed detectors per
detector line is read in. The detector line must be switched off for around 30 s
between reading-in processes.
Recommendation: Use the line tester FDUL221 for the changeover.
Changing over from SIGMALOOP detector line to FDnet detector line
or from FDnet detector line to SIGMALOOP detector line
The changeover must take place by reading in the detector line several times.
Repeat the reading-in process until the correct number of installed detectors per
detector line is read in.
Changing over from interactive to FDnet detector line or from FDnet
detector line to interactive
The changeover must take place by reading in the detector line several times.
Repeat the reading-in process until the correct number of installed detectors per
detector line is read in.
You will find detailed information in the 'List of compatibility'.
