Checking the operation of IC2 (/PSW and /IGN)
Check that the signal /PSW (IC2-10pin) and /PSW_OUT (IC2-15pin) are linked
with the power button on KCH-19 in power on state.
Check that the signal /PSW and /PSW_OUT are
0V during the power button is pressed.
If the ignition function is enabled, check that the signal /IGN (IC2-8pin) and
/IGN_OUT (IC2-9pin) are linked with the ignition sense.
When the ingnition sense has voltage (set within the
operating voltage range), check that the signal
/IGN and IGN_OUT are 0V.
Remarks related MSP430G25KGCA
A. MSP430G25KGCA is written the program.
B. OMAP communicates with MSP43G25KGCA by serial communication at startup of deck.
Only firmware version of MSP43G25KGCA is confirmed OMAP in serial communication.
Even when firmware version of MSP43G25KGCA can not be acquired, the system of MSP43G25KGCA is started.
C. If there is the difference of firmware virsion of MSP43G25KGCA between MSP43G25KGCA and OMAP,
the firmware version of MSP43G25KGCA is updated with the serial communication by OMAP.
"WAIT···"is displayed on the LCD during the firmware update. When the firmware update fails,
the system of MSP43G25KGCA is started and OMAP is trying to update again at next startup.
IC2 is broken.
When /PSW is linked and
/PSW_OUT is not linked
with the power button.
IC2 or the circuit of the signal /PSW is broken.
When both /PSW and
/PSW_OUT are not linked
with the power button.
IC2 is broken.
When /IGN is 0V and
/IGN_OUT is not 0V.
IC2 or the circuit of the signal /IGN is broken.
When both /IGN and
/IGN_OUT are not 0V.
