To switch off the Vertiv Liebert EXL to change the batteries, follow these steps:
1. Touch “Inverter Off” on the touch screen (system enters Bypass Mode). 2. Switch the battery breaker to the OFF position. 3. Switch QS3 (if available) to the ON position. 4. Switch QS4 to the OFF position (system enters Service Mode / Maintenance Bypass). 5. Switch QS1 and QS2 to the OFF position (UPS completely de-energized).
Note: Some breakers may not be available for all ratings.

The Liebert EXL provides continuous, high-quality AC power to business-critical equipment, such as telecommunications and data processing equipment. The Liebert EXL supplies power that is free of the disturbances and variations in voltage and frequency common to utility power, which is subject to brownouts, blackouts, surges and sags.
