The red X indicators on the Dynon D3 typically signal an issue with attitude indication, often caused by improper alignment. To resolve this:
1. Ensure the D3 is correctly oriented in the yaw axis and not pointed left or right toward the pilot. 2. Redo the alignment process to correct the displayed attitude.
If this does not resolve the issue, further troubleshooting or support may be needed.

• DC 14/28V DC Vehicle Charger BEFORE FIRST USE Before you use your D3 for the first time, please complete the following initial setup & configuration steps: This guide contains abbreviated instructions for product usage. Please download the full Pilot’s User Guide at dynonavionics.com/docs.

ALIGN THE D3 FOR FLIGHT With the D3 powered on, Press the Menu icon in the upper-left corner, and then go to “Pitch/Roll Adjust”. • • Press the up/down arrows until the displayed pitch matches the current pitch of the aircraft. Note that this won’t necessarily be “level”, particularly for taildraggers that are being aligned on the ground.
