4. Connect both inflator tubes (upper and
lower) to the barb fittings (top and bottom)
on the inflator mechanism. Secure the
inflator tubes in place using the supplied
clamp straps. Trim the excess clamp strap
using diagonal pliers (Fig. 20).
NOTE: The inflator button can face inward or outward, orientation is entirely
up to user preference. Facing the inflator button inward will prevent the inflator
button from being pressed accidentally.
5. Reconnect the inflator hose to the QD fitting. Insert the EBIS cylinder into the
pocket on the rear, left side of the vest with the dual swivel face up. Connect
the mouthpiece cover with a clamp strap to a user preferred location on the
vest. Trim the excess clamp strap using diagonal pliers. Fit the second stage
mouthpiece into the mouthpiece cover (Fig. 21).
