Configure Cascading
Disconnect a Cascaded Camera
Cascading involves using two EagleEye Director II cameras in the same conference room. Using more
than one camera can add different perspectives and camera angles to improve communication in
conference calls.
Note: Since the EagleEye Director II camera uses audio to detect the speaker, if the room is noisy, the
camera won't work properly. The EagleEye Director II camera doesn't support a local sound
reinforcement system.

Scenarios for Meeting Rooms
Two EagleEye Director II cameras are suggested as a best practice if you want better coverage in a large
conference room or classroom. Determining which camera placement scenario to use for cascading
depends upon your video conferencing needs.
Refer to the following diagrams to determine which placement of the cascaded cameras works best for
your environment.
Note: Cameras in all of the following scenarios should be mounted on a wall for the best user
experience.
Scenario 1: One camera is positioned on the left or right side of the room, and the other camera is
positioned at the front of the room. This configuration works well in conference rooms with a whiteboard
on a side wall.
