3. Hard Disk Drive No. Assignment
SYMPTOMS
If you are using a brand new Hard Disk Drive on AOP-8150WT, the
Hard Disk Drive may be assigned to "H" drive while installing
Windows XP.
Troubleshooting
a. Delete and create new partitions for Hard Disk Drive in
Windows XP installing process.
b. Disable all USB ports before installing.
4. COM Port Identity Error
SYMPTOMS
After installing Windows XP, please check if the COM port address
& IRQ are the same as the BIOS setting.
Troubleshooting
a. If the COM port address & IRQ are wrong, it is
recommended to delete all address & IRQ of COM ports
in device manager.
b. Reboot the system and the device manager of Windows
XP will detect it automatically with a right address.
