Priming Piston Service Reassemble After Cleaning 7. Remove the retaining pin (118), o-ring (119), and ball (110). Pull the connecting rod (109) from the displacement rod (117). Remove the seal (120). Note: Any damaged parts must be replaced. Note: Lubricate the o-rings, throat packings, and piston seals with appropriate waterproof sanitary lubricant. -
