Channel 0 video data is readable from both the BNC connector and the
25-pin DSUB connector. Channels 1 through 3 are available only via
the 25-pin DSUB connector.
When you select a channel, the camera assigned to that channel will
appear in the Select Channel status area. The Select Camera status
area will also be updated to reflect the currently assigned camera. Use
the Select Camera pop-up box to change the camera assigned to that
channel. You can delete or duplicate a camera file by selecting the
corresponding button in the Select Camera area. Use the Save as
button to duplicate a camera file if you wish to make non-standard
modifications to an existing camera file. Use the Rename button to
change the description of the selected camera. Use the Delete button to
delete the selected camera file.
You can test your new selections at any time by clicking the Snap or Grab
video buttons, as shown in Figure 5-6.
To permanently write modified camera settings to the associated
camera file, click on the Save Settings button.
The Basic Settings panel, shown in Figure 5-8, allows you to configure
basic properties of the currently selected camera.
