The minimum vent system for horizontal termination must consist of:
Dura-Vent adapter Part #
24" (609.6mm) vertical length of vent
90 degree elbow
12" (305 mm) horizontal length of vent
Wall thimble

The maximum horizontal vent system consists of:
Dura-Vent adapter Part #
40' (12192 mm) vertical length directly on top of the stove
4 - 90 degree elbows
20' (6096 mm) maximum horizontal length

The maximum vertical system consists of:
Dura-Vent adapter Part #
Up to 40' (12192 mm) of vertical length
Fire stop
Flashing

Security Venting Termination cap
Use a ceiling fire stop when penetrating a ceiling or floor. Use a wall thimble when penetrating
an inside or outside wall. Vent terminals shall not be recessed into a wall or siding.
